Aqua Villa uses Chekin to manage the online guest registration process. Guests receive an individual check-in link, sent through communications generated from Smoobu, through which the information required for registration is collected.
 

Chekin is connected to SES.HOSPEDAJES, the guest registration platform of the Spanish Ministry of the Interior, allowing the legally required information to be communicated to the competent authorities.
 

Legal basis: compliance with our legal obligations as an accommodation provider.
 

Guest communication and service

We use your contact details to provide information concerning your booking, online check-in, arrival, stay, departure and requests made by you.

Smoobu — property management, availability, direct booking management and guest communications.
 

Chekin — online guest registration and check-in and communication of legally required guest and reservation information to the competent authorities through SES.HOSPEDAJES.
 

These providers may process personal data on our behalf or, where applicable, under their own legal responsibilities and privacy terms.

We use service providers that are required to process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.
 

6. Payments — Stripe and PayPal
 

Payments for direct bookings may be processed through Stripe or PayPal, depending on the payment method selected by the guest.

When you make a payment, payment and transaction information may be processed directly by the selected payment provider in accordance with its own privacy terms and applicable data protection legislation.
 

Aqua Villa does not receive or store complete payment card details or your complete Stripe or PayPal authentication credentials when these are processed directly by the payment provider.
 

We may receive information necessary to identify and manage the transaction, such as:

• Payment status

• Transaction reference

• Amount paid

• Date of payment

• Payment method

• Information required for booking administration, accounting, refunds or dispute management
   

7. Guest Registration Through Chekin and SES.HOSPEDAJES
 

Following a reservation, guests may receive an online check-in link generated through the integration between Smoobu and Chekin.

Through this process, Chekin collects the information required to register guests in accordance with Spanish law.
 

Depending on the applicable legal requirements, this may include identification, contact, accommodation, reservation and payment-related information required by the competent authorities.
 

Chekin communicates the legally required information to SES.HOSPEDAJES, the platform operated by the Spanish Ministry of the Interior for the registration and communication of accommodation activity.

This processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations applicable to tourist accommodation providers in Spain.
 

8. Sharing of Personal Data
 

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share personal data, where necessary, with:

• Wix, for website hosting and functionality

• Smoobu, for booking and property management

• Chekin, for online check-in and statutory guest registration

• Stripe and PayPal, for payment processing

• Financial institutions where required for payment processing

• Professional advisers, accountants and service providers

• Staff or contractors involved in managing your reservation or stay

• SES.HOSPEDAJES and other competent public authorities where disclosure is required by law
